A Boston Weekend to Remember: Celebrating Jess & Jesse

Behind the Scenes - About to jump on a 18 hour flight to head down under

Some weekends are bigger than others, and last weekend will be hard to top. We headed up to Boston to celebrate our friends Jess and Jesse, not only for winning MasterChef but also for a surprise engagement! Two milestones, one unforgettable weekend.

What made it even more special was the reunion. More than ten of our Dynamic Duos family made the trip, and it felt like being back in Melbourne all over again. After spending two months together filming, we built a bond that goes way beyond the kitchen. Getting the chance to reconnect, relive the fun (trauma?) and tell stories was great!

It was also the first time my wife Alex got to meet the maniacs I have talked so much about over the past year. Introducing her to the people who became like family during our time in Melbourne was a full circle moment. Seeing the laughter and connections with everyone made me realize just how strong those bonds really are.

The highlight of course was Jess and Jesse. Watching them step off the MasterChef stage and into this next chapter, engaged and on top of the culinary world, is inspiring. They have proven what happens when you chase your dreams with everything you have!

Here is to Jess and Jesse, to friends reunited, and to the family we have built through food.
